DUNBARTON BOARD OF SELECTMEN
TOWN OFFICES –
The regular weekly meeting of the Dunbarton Board of Selectmen was held at the above time, date and place with Chairman Charles Graybill presiding. The following were present:

Charles
Graybill called the meeting to order at

VandeBogart, Road Agent:
Jan VandeBogart, Road Agent, appeared before the Board and reported on the following:
1.
Request for a stainless steel sander for the One Ton Truck. Will be soliciting bids for the sander. Will be 2.6 yds.
2.
The Selectmen encouraged Mr. VandeBogart to
look into purchase of a chipper. Will be
bringing estimates in for the chipper.
Janice
VandeBogart, Town Administrator:
1.
Passed out copies of three ordinances as submitted by the Police
Department previously for review:
Noise
Alarms Devices
Parks and Recreation
Kenneth
Swayze, Admin., Planning and Zoning Department:
1. Reported problems with wood chips disposal at Gorham Pond.
2.
Asked permission to contact Town Counsel for him to develop the Multi
family Ordinance.
Selectmen reached a consensus that Kenneth Swayze would be allowed to contact Town Counsel for the
purpose of developing a Multi Family Ordinance.
Peter
Holden,
Made a presentation to the Selectmen with maps and overlays showing proposed development of the property.
Stated the concept had been started in
Buck’s County,
Larry
Beauregard: To discuss letter to him
regarding minutes of
Larry Beauregard and his wife appeared before the
Board. He stated that the minutes did
not reflect what he said at the meeting.
He presented a letter to be included with the minutes as follows:
“ The minutes of the
I do not feel that Vicki Kelly is in any way a
racist. This is not what was said at the
I request that the Selectmen correct the minutes so
there is absolutely no implication at all that I (or anyone else) accused Vicki
of being a racist.

The
Selectmen stated that as far as they remembered, the minutes of the meeting
accurately reflected what took place.
The
Selectmen agreed to drop the words “by the coach” from the first sentence of
Larry Beauregard’s statement.
Janice
VandeBogart will change the minutes which are on the
Dunbarton Web Page to reflect this.
Other
Business:
1.
Janice VandeBogart stated the Selectmen need
to carry forward the $12,500 for the publishing of the
Historic Book for Dunbarton “Where Settlers Feet Have Trod” because it
will not be ready before January
1. The Selectmen reached a consensus to carry
forward $12,500 for publishing historic book.
2.
Jeff Nelson, Police Chief, Retirement costs are paid completely by the
Town. The State Retirement has indicated
this is completely illegal and has to be changed accordingly. Because this is within his contract, the Town
must make up the difference. Will be
worked out accordingly.
3.
Welfare Issues:
The Selectmen reached a consensus that all
disbursements for welfare will be approved by the Selectmen prior to their
being made. We will not be reimbursing
out of pocket expenditures unless it is pre-approved.
4.
Steve Kennedy stated there are several driveway issues on
Invite Senator Gatsus and
the Commissioner of DOT to attend a meeting to discuss issues.
There
being no further business, the meeting adjourned at
