to
discuss
the
Town
Hall
building
repair
of
the
slate
roofing.
John
indicated
that
he
was
expecting
a
proposal
and
will
call
to
check
on.
Chuck
indicated
that
Mike
Lupa's
subdivision
on
Gorham
Pond
Rd.
and
Jim
and
Bev
Marcou's
Mansion
Rd.
subdivision
need
some
work
before
any
permits
are
issued. Other
Business:
MacKinnon
Construction
submitted
a
bid
of
$29,875
plus
$6,000
for
drywall
on
the
ceiling
of
the
upper
Town
Hall.
Since
this
was
the
only
bid,
the
Board
is
going
to
rebid
it. Janice
discussed
a
proposed
acceptable
solution
to
Tom
Gleason's
concerns
about
the
transfer
station's
operating
hours.
The
station
will
open
one
half
hour
earlier
on
Wed. Janice
discussed
the
applicants
for
the
transfer
station
attendant
and
flagger
--
there
were
two
applicants
for
the
latter
and
one
for
the
former,
with
one
more
likely
applicant
on
Friday. Janice
discussed
a
welfare
case
in
which
no
payments
have
been
received
yet.
The
Welfare
Director
is
going
to
follow
up
with
the
family. 8:20
p.m.

Larry
Cook
--
came
in
to
discuss
funding
of
$60,00
for
the
LCIP
and
the
proposed
funding
of
$700,000
in
federal
funds
for
the
purchase
of
land
at
Kimball
Pond.
The
Senate
and
House
still
have
to
pass
it,
which
is
expected
by
fall
and
would
be
available
next
February.
This
would
be
sufficient
time
to
buy
the
Nassikas
property. 8:45

motion
to
adjourn.
The
motion
did
not
receive
sufficient

which
