BOARD OF ASSESSORS

TOWN OF DUNBARTON

The minutes of February 17, 2004 were reviewed and accepted as written.

The following items were reviewed and signed:

1. Timber Tax Warrant for Mert Mann, E3-6-22

2. Timber Tax Warrant for Kennedy Realty Trust, E3-6-20

3. Intent to cut timber: Pelletier, David, J2-1-12.

The application for veterans credit in the name of John Casey was reviewed and accepted. It was requested by John Swindlehurst that the left side of the application form be filled out by Mr. Casey.

The board voted to accept the resignation of Compton French. Compton has been working for the town for over twenty years and worked on two revaluations for the town. It is with regret that the board accepts his resignation and wish to express their deepest appreciation for the many years of service he has given the Town of Dunbarton. He will be sorely missed.

The board has received an appeal from Edward & Marcia Wagner, 81 Tenney Hill Road, lot #H3-4-8. It was voted to table this until next meeting.

Rick Vincent has been in contact with Janice VandeBogart, Town Administrator in regard to taking over the job of pick up assessing for the town in Compton French’s absence. It was the vote of the board to have Mr. Vincent submit a resume for their review.

The contract for the revaluation of the town received from Vision Appraisals was reviewed. Each member had changes and/or questions regarding this contract. It was decided to have the people from Vision attend a meeting with the board to review the contract.
