Bryan Clark was unable to
attend due to a prior commitment.
The Board meet
to review all the bids received. (See
December minutes)
It was decided that
references will be called to verify work done by each company and computer
program use on each. Board will compare
notes and set and date and time to meet with representatives from the top three
choices.
It was voted by the board to
ask the Selectmen to place an article on the warrant asking for $50,000 to be
added to the $60,000 appropriated in the year 2003 for the revaluation of the
town in 2005. This decision was based on
the bids received.
Other business: The board approved and signed minutes of the
December meeting of the Board of Assessors.
Bryan Clark will sign at the next meeting.
The following current use
penalties were approved and signed:
a. B4-5-20, Catalfimo, $7,500 (based on sale
price of $75,000)
b. E3-2-49, Johnson, $12,500 (based on sale price of $125,000)
c. E3-6-1, Stillwater Properties, LLC, $10,000 – disqualified due to sale
of abutting properties, lot no less than
required 10 acres (based on current sales in that area)
d. E3-2-46, Stillwater Properties, LLC, $10,000 – disqualified due to sale
of abutting properties, lot now less than required 10 acres (based on sales in
that area.)
Timber tax warrant for
Hopkinton Forestry and Land Clearing E2-1-1 was signed.
A abatement was signed in
the name of Valerie Clegg & Mike Leach, see December minutes, on mobile home
destroyed by fire lot #J3-2-2M1.
It was noted for the record
that Mrs. Lloyd was called in regard to her application for elderly exemption
to verify income. It was determined that
based on information received from Mrs. Lloyd that she does qualify for a
$45,000 exemption on her property
