MINUTES OF MEETING

NOVEMBER 19, 2002

Tim Terragni called the meeting to order.

The following were reviewed and signed:

· Minutes of October meeting

· Intent to cut, Doug Ryan, I3-4-2

The Board discussed Current Use Release Forms and assessed penalties as follows:

· Lou Faustini (B4-5-21): Penalty of $6,000 assessed based on a value of $60,000.

· Dana Moquin (B5-2-26): Penalty of $6,000 assessed. The land has changed ownership, therefore the Board assigned a value of $ 60,000.

There was a brief discussion regarding the Current Use Penalties assessed on the Cimray lots. Because the lots were not disqualified yet the figures were not accurate. Tim Terragni will call Linda Kennedy of the DRA to discuss the matter further.

Compton told the Board that he and Janice VandeBogart (not present) have been working on the Sales Ratio. Tim asked if the Board felt the need to meet and review before it was sent in (due December 15). None of the members felt it was necessary to hold a special meeting for review.

The Board reviewed the letter from the Board of Tax and Land Appeals. No action was taken.

Compton has set review date for appeals. January 18, 2003 will be the review date with a snow date of January 25, 2003. Appeals will be heard from 9:30 AM to 4PM at the Town Office. Notice will need to be posted in the Bow Times, Dunbarton Web Site and Bulletin Board. Residents will need to pick up abatement requests and complete them before attending their appointment.

Tim reminded the Board that the budget is due in the Selectmen’s office next month.
