David and Judy Oesterreich appeared before the Board to submit their updated current use application (see April meeting). They had questions regarding the possibility of a “land swap” with a neighbor and of creating a non-conforming lot reducing frontage below the minimum. The Board suggested they contact the Zoning Board regarding this.
Richard Ewans appeared before the Board to discuss a current use application. The Board defined mapping needs and explained the new requirements. Mr. Ewans will refine the paperwork and bring it to the Town Administrator.
The Board reviewed an application for Veterans Exemption Jonathan S. Harrington. The Board was unsure if he qualified and agreed to table any decision until the June meeting.

The Board reviewed a letter from Mark Tarsa regarding removal of his recreational discount from his current use. The Board approved the change and waived the administration fee.
The Board discussed a request from Jim Stone (F4-2-1) to remove some land from current use to have a building lot for their daughter. The Board felt that further discussion with the Stones was necessary regarding this. Also, this should be discussed with the Zoning Board. Tim will discuss this with the Town Administrator.
Correspondence received regarding pole license should be referred to George Sansoucy, Utility appraiser.
The Board reviewed a copy of House Bill 212 regarding State Education Tax (see attached). This does not apply as our re-val was done in 1997.
Brian Little spoke with Joe Albertelli (I4-01-08). He subdivided and created a 5-acre lot. He applied for and was granted a building permit but did not do anything to the land for a year. The Town assessed a penalty. Mr. Albertelli is requesting abatement on the interest. The Board tabled further discussion until Brian can obtain more information.
Meeting adjourned at 9:00 PM
