DUNBARTON BOARD OF ASSESSORS

MINUTES OF MEETING

DECEMBER 17, 2002

Present:            Timothy Terragni, Chairman, Bryan Clark, Brian Little

                        Compton French, Assessor       Linda L. Peters, Recording Secretary

 

Tim Terragni called the meeting to order.

 

Josh and Linda Gagne (Lot C3-2-3) had the only appointment of the evening.  They requested that the Board review the current assessment of their house and land.  They presented a list of items (see attached) that they felt should be addressed.  The Board did find a discrepancy in the acreage.  Board Member Brian Little informed the Board that he had visited the property and could confirm the unfinished state of the house.  They suggested the Gagne’s do the abatement paperwork and set up an appointment for the 18th of January.  The discussion with the Gagne’s ended at 7:50 PM

 

            Re:  Cimray:  Tim Terragni reported that he had discussed Cimray (see November minutes) with Jim Gibney.  As it had already been recorded with the registry, nothing more could be done.

 

            The following were reviewed and signed:

·        Minutes of November meeting

·        Timber Tax Warrant:  Girard Meisner (H4-2-3)

 

The Board discussed re-valuation.   Compton suggested a warrant article be in place to put it out to bid.   The Board will present an article for the 2003 Town Warrant  to create a Capital Reserve fund in the amount of 1/3 of the expected cost of the revaluation.

 

            Tim Terragni reported that he had presented the 2003 budget to the Selectmen at their December 5 meeting.
