Dunbarton Police investigate several commercial establishment burglaries

The Dunbarton Police Department is currently investigating three burglaries that have occurred within the last five days. On June 12 officers responded to a report that the Dunbarton Transfer Station had been burglarized. It appears that this burglary took place during the late evening of June 11 or early morning hours of June 12. Several hundred pounds of recyclable metals along with some tools and office equipment were reported stolen during this burglary.

On June 17 officers responded to two burglary reports. The first at Nichols Garage and the second report brought officers back to the Dunbarton Transfer Station. Both establishments are located on Concord Stage Road. Initial indications are that the suspect(s) forced entry into the buildings during the late night hours of June 16 or early morning hours of June 17. Assorted tools and equipment were taken during these two burglaries.
