Please join us for an Historic Cellar Hole Walk, Saturday, November 5. Meet at 10 am at the Kimball Pond boat ramp on Kimball Pond Road.

We will visit cellar holes located around the Kimball Pond Boat Launch including these noted in the town history Where the Winds Blow Free:

Heading East from the boat ramp
96 – Page’s Mill cellar hole
97 – The old mill house cellar hole
98 – The Page House (a.k.a. the Goat Farm) cellar hole

Then headed west from the boat ramp
95 – E. Anthese house cellar hole
128 – William Brown house cellar hole

Then north on Legache Hill Road
126 – Two houses rumored to have housed Samuel Garvin, once considered the laziest man to ever live in town!
