Meeting Minutes

June 3, 2004

Meeting called to order at 1900 hours with two out of five members present: Tamara Luby and Jackie Belanger.

Members went over the community recycling list. This will go out in the school newsletter as well as being placed in the Town Offices. Copies will also be available at the Transfer Station. One suggestion was made about making a sign for in front of the drop off windows that asked people to rinse the containers and remove the lids. Jackie is going to look into various weatherproofing signs.

We are looking into recycling bins for the community to purchase. This will be done with a pre-pay sign up list. The goal is to have pricing by the next meeting.

Members want to make recycling mandatory within the Town Offices. This will include the Fire and Police Stations, Town Office, Highway Garage, and Library. A letter needs to be composed to these offices. The Transfer Station will provide them with the recycling bins that they will need.
