CONSERVATION COMMISSION MEETING

MINUTES: Minutes accepted after being corrected to include Brett St. Clair as present rather than absent
OLD BUSINESS:
Gravel pit off of
Bids of $1000.00, $3,500.00 and $6,000.00 were received by the commission from the loggers who are interested in cutting the area to be excavated. A motion was made by Brett St. Clair who moved that the commission recommend to the Selectmen that we accept the $1,000.00 bid from Bob Lee. The motion passed. Ron Jarvis volunteered to relay our recommendation to the Selectmen and to look into providing access to the esker for the necessary equipment.
Status of local projects/Wetland Bureau updates
Dipietro Homes (Stark Lane/Mansion Road) – The commission
received a copy of a “Request for more information” from DES’s Jeff Blecharczyk
(NH Wetlands Bureau) which was sent to DiPietro Homes on January 30, 2004. The letter states that DES is considering

Kimball Pond Management Plan
Members present discussed the rough draft of the management plan supplied them by Brett St. Clair. Brett volunteered to make some revisions to the draft based on suggestions made by members present.
Scenic Roads
Brett St. Clair and George Holt intend to address the commission’s concerns and draft a scenic road policy as members of the master planning transportation discussion group.
