THE DUNBARTON ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT WILL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2012 AT 7:00 PM AT THE DUNBARTON TOWN OFFICES WITH REGARD TO THE FOLLOWING REQUEST:
7:00 - PUBLIC HEARING - BACK COUNTRY MANAGEMENT (J3-02-02) REQUESTS A VARIANCE TO ARTICLE 4, SECTION B, DIMENSIONAL REGULATIONS OF THE DUNBARTON ZONING ORDINANCE TO ALLOW THEM TO REPLACE AN EXISTING MANUFACTURED HOME WITHIN THE 50 FOOT SETBACK AT THEIR PROPERTY ON CLINTON STREET IN THE LOW DENSITY DISTRICT IN DUNBARTON, NH.
ALL INTERESTED PARTIES AND ABUTTERS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND AND GIVE INPUT.
The first day for candidates to file a declaration of candidacy for a Town office is Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Filing period ends 5:00PM Friday, February 3, 2012. Candidates should file with Linda Peters, Town Clerk. (See contact information below). Linda will be available between the hours of 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM on February 3, the final day of the filing period.
Terms will be ending for the following TOWN offices:
One Selectman for three years (incumbent Charles W. Graybill)
One Town Moderator for two years (incumbent Frederick J. Mullen)
One Town Clerk for three years (incumbent Linda L. Peters)
One Supervisor of the Checklist for six years (incumbent Ronald Slocum)

Two Library Trustees for two years (incumbent Philip Kimball and Martha Gerstenberger)

The Dunbarton Board of Selectmen have offered Daniel G. Sklut the Dunbarton Police Chief position. This Process will take a month to complete and get him on board. He is the second in command of the Shrewsbury Mass Police Department, a town of 35,000 with a staff of 42 sworn officers. He has a Masters in Criminal Justice and is a graduate of the F.B.I. National Academy as well as the Babson Institute of Command Training. He has accepted our conditional offer and will begin the process immediately of fulfilling the conditions.
